URBAN RENEWAL AUTHORITY
October 4, 2011
Chair Cutler called the October 4, 2011 meeting of the Urban Renewal Authority to order at 6:22 p.m. Those answering roll call included Chair Cutler, Vice Chair d’Oronzio and Directors Kracha, Phillips, Buechner, Ruggeri and Lupberger.
Also present were City Administrator Gary Klaphake, Urban Renewal Executive Director Phillip Patterson, Police Chief Rick Bashor, Finance Director Bob Wright, City Attorney Dave Williamson and City Clerk Susan Koster.
Minutes
A motion was made by Director Lupberger and seconded by Director Phillips to approve the September 13, 2011 minutes of the Regular Urban Renewal Authority Meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
A motion was made by Director d’Oronzio and seconded by Director Ruggeri to approve the September 20, 2011 minutes of the Regular Urban Renewal Authority Meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
2011 LURA Budget Amendment
Finance Director Wright said the amendment to the 2011 LURA Budget is necessary to account for two unanticipated maintenance projects. He said the increase in requested expenditures would be more than offset by anticipated increase in the sales tax increment.
Following discussion, a motion was made by Director Lupberger and seconded by Director d’Oronzio to approve Resolution No. 2011-01 / Amending and Revising Appropriations for the Budget Year 2011 for the Lafayette Urban Renewal Authority. The motion passed unanimously.
2012 LURA Budget
Finance Director Wright presented the 2012 LURA Budget. Chair Cutler opened a public hearing at 6:27 p.m. and invited interested persons to speak. Seeing no one, she closed the hearing.
A motion was made by Director Lupberger and seconded by Director Phillips to approve Resolution 2011-02 / Adopting a Budget and Making Appropriations for the Budget Year 2012. The motion passed unanimously.
Chair Cutler adjourned the meeting at 6:28 p.m.
