Art Night Out 2012
Booker reports that planning is on hold as there is the potential for an infusion of additional funds.
Big picture planning, Comprehensive Plan update and Creative District Certification
Booker recommends that a sub-committee of three, herself, Rachel (PAC) and Stacey (LCAC) meet to discuss updates to the comprehensive plan and ensure that language specific to arts and culture is included. Phillip wants to wait on Creative District Certification; the end of January deadline is too soon. Booker checked and it is good to wait. We will get aspects of the Creative District requirements into the new Comprehensive Plan.
2012 Grants: SCFD, CCI, BCAA
Booker reports that Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD) final report is due in February and 2013 application is due mid-March. Colorado Creative Industries (CCI) is due in June. BCAA- we should make an effort to get a grant from the Boulder County Arts Alliance.
Open Door Fund – LCAC should also try and do some projects related to GLBT.
Proposed Budget for January – March
Arts in Education Grants are coming out of 2012 budget. Due to having so many new members and Mike being on leave for a month or two due to health, we will not really pursue any major programming January-March, minimal impact on the budget.
