Planning Commission Workshop
Wednesday, January 25, 2012

The Planning Commission workshop of January 25, 2012 began at 7:00 p.m.  Planning Commissioners present were Chairperson Patzer, Vice Chair Wilgus, and Commissioners Benson, Knuth, and Nickell. 

Absent:  Commissioners Steinbrecher and Wong. 

Staff present included Planning Manager Karen Westover.

I. Comprehensive Plan Goals & Policies Update Discussion
The Planning Commission discussed goals and policies of the Comprehensive Plan that relate the following section of the Comprehensive Plan:

• Regional Cooperation
• Growth Management
• Land Use & Development
• Community Character
• Housing

The Commission agreed to hold another workshop in February to continue discussing the Economic Development, applicable Transportation and Environmental Quality & Natural Resources Goals and to review the discussion held tonight with Commission members Steinbrecher and Wong.   

II. Adjournment
The workshop was adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
