Laura handed out the new Eco-Cycle single stream guidelines.  Doug handed out the hand written notes from the children at Pioneer Elementary Green Team asking for the City to begin curbside composting.  Marjie indicated that she would write a Thank You note to the children.  The group would like to review the Boulder County ZW Action Plan at the February meeting.

A lengthy discussion concerning the 2012 Peach Festival reviewed past problems and issues.  The end result is that a meeting with Pat Vero, Events Coordinator at the Chamber is needed to discuss various options to enforce the ZW event rules and interactions with the Public Road merchants that sell food during the event.  Doug will set up a meeting in February or March with Pat and representatives from WRAC to review these problems.  Doug mentioned that he is ordering 312 new Recycle Carts for the City program as the surplus from the initial order have been used up.  Doug also mentioned about the 2012 Spring Clean-up will only be collected in compostable bags.
