Orphan Black (TV Series) What if you were a clone? Suspenseful, well done, with a great up and coming actress.

The Sea of Trolls  by Nancy Farmer. An engaging fantasy adventure with a Norse mythology foundation.

Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children  by Ransom Riggs. An enjoyable, eccentric read, with well-developed characters, a Welsh setting, and some very creepy monsters.

The True Blue Scouts of Sugar Land Swamp (audiobook) by Kathi Appelt. A folksy narrative read by Lyle Lovett; great funny romp through the swamp!
