In 2005, WRAC won the Colorado Environmental Leadership Program's Bronze Achiever Award for work in promoting Zero Waste. WRAC coordinates Zero Waste efforts at the Oatmeal Festival and Peach Festival. WRAC meets the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 in the 2nd floor Library Conference Room.
WRAC is the driving force behind transforming Lafayette's community festivals into zero waste events.
