Urban Renewal Architectural Review Committee
The Architectural Review Committee was formed to review all development applications submitted for the Urban Renewal Area for conformance with the Plan. This includes any physical changes, including, but not limited to, new buildings, building additions or renovations, signs, exterior paint, paving, site plans, demolitions, changes in roof materials, or fencing. The Architectural Review Committee is appointed by the Mayor, and must consist of the Executive Director of the Urban Renewal Authority, the Community Development Director of the City of Lafayette, an architect, a member of the Historic Preservation Board, a business owner, and a resident in the Urban Renewal Area.
