To sign up please contact Martin Ogle: martin@entrepreneurialearth.com Geology field trip will be led by Boulder County volunteer and naturalist, Dr. Sue Hirschfeld. The outing will begin with an overview of Lafayette geology followed by destinations of Lafayette Coal Miners museum and the Coal Creek Trail. This is a walking and driving field trip - please provide own transportation. Dr. Hirschfeld is a retired Professor of Geology from Cal State-Hayward (now CSU East Bay).

The Citizens' Police Academy explains and demonstrates many of the department's policies, divisions and functions. Students also get hands on experiences in many classes. The 2014 Citizens' Police Academy will be expanded from a 9-week to an 11-week mini-academy for citizens 18 and older. Applications and background checks are required.
