    It's so easy - even a child can do it! 383,000 sudden cardiac arrests happen every year and 88% happen at home. Effective CPR can double, or even triple, a victim's chances of survival. Unfortunately, only 32% of victims get immediate CPR from trained bystanders. Please help by teaming up with the Lafayette Fire Department to learn the skills necessary to save a life.

    For kids ages 6-12 years of age. This is a great opportunity for kids to learn to fish or to improve their fishing skills. Jax Outdoor Gear will present a learn-to-fish clinic, followed by a fun fishing derby where prizes will be awarded. Parents/Grandparents bring your fishing license or get one at Jax Outdoor Gear if you will be fishing.The first 100 youth ages 6-12 to register by the May 22 deadline will receive a free fishing pole. Help with skidsteer will be provided for truck beds and trailers. There is a two-trip maximum for trucks and trailers.
