    Designed for families who are looking for a unique outdoor experience in the City! We'll find you a spot in our specially created campground at Waneka Lake Park where you can set up your own tent and enjoy some outdoor fun.     Have you ever wondered why the police do things the way they do? Have you been curious about laws, policies and officer skills that have been developed to keep you safe? The Citizens' Police Academy explains and demonstrates many of the department's policies, divisions and functions. Students also get hands on experiences in many classes. The 2014 Citizens' Police Academy will be expanded from a 9-week to an 11-week mini-academy for citizens 18 and older. Applications and background checks are required. Space is limited, so apply early!

  6. Fly Fishing 101

    August 28, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM @ Senior Services Center

    Learn the basics of fly fishing. We will cover equipment, bugs (entomology), match the hatch, various casting skills, knots and rigs.
