Lafayette Open Space

  1. Signs of a Living Planet

    July 25, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Waneka Lake Park

Lafayette Open Space reveals some of the ways that we can sense our living planet. Join naturalist, Martin Ogle in an exploration of natural history, human involvement and how it all ties into Earth’s living system. The group will look for birds and other wildlife, explore the Greenlee marsh, and learn the history behind Waneka Lake. This 1 ½ mile walk will start at the Waneka Lake east parking lot (Emma St. and Caria Drive). The program is recommended for adults and youth age 10 and older. RSVPs are required and spaces are limited. RSVPs and questions can be directed to Martin Ogle at Martin@EntrepreneurialEarth.
