    Lafayette Cultural Arts Commission (LCAC) promotes, nurtures, and celebrates the visual, performing, and language arts by providing opportunities for the public to appreciate and enjoy art in its various forms; connecting artists, educators, and community members with resources; building partnerships to sustain and further the arts; and embracing and supporting the diversity of the community we serve. LCAC works closely with the Arts and Cultural Resources Department to plan and implement programs for the community.

    Machine Language Join Artist Nick Briz on a Data Safari. The Collective - 201 North Public Road, Lafayette , CO 80026 April 1st to May 5th, 2018. Opening Friday, April 6th 2018 In conjunction with LEAF (Lafayette Electronic Arts Festival), the City of Lafayette and The National Endowment for the Arts, the exhibition Machine Language explores the ongoing modulations in the relationship between machine and human; machines making art, machines as art, art of the machine and art in the machine. The Machine Language exhibition is a new addition to the 3-year old festival that explores electronic and new media through performances, workshops, films, talks and exhibitions.   3. Art Night Out Volunteer Training

    ARTS! Lafayette and the Lafayette Police Department is offering a free training for all volunteers who wish to help with alcohol service, id checking and sales at the Art Night Out Beer & Wine Garden. Volunteers will learn how to check ids and other required safety precautions. Other volunteers are needed for jobs that do not require training.
