[ACTIVE] Boy Scout Troop 271 Christmas Tree Pickup and Recycling Project

Local Boy Scout Troops recycle Christmas trees as a community service and fundraiser project. This project is run in cooperation with the City of Lafayette. The trees are chipped, and used for ground cover on city properties. Please take advantage of this convenient service.

Curbside pick-up days are:

Saturday, December 28
Sunday, December 29

Sunday, January 5

Saturday, January 11

- Schedule your pickup at by filling out the online form at http://www.troop271.scoutlander.com/publicsite/unitcustom.aspx?UID=26351&CUSTOMID=72411.
- Suggest donation $8-$12 – Thank you!
- Cash or check payable to “BSA Troop 271”
- Please put your check in an envelope and, if raining or snowing, inside a plastic bag
- Attach the envelope to the tree, OR
- Mail check to TROOP 271, 2360 East Cherrywood Dr, Lafayette, CO 80026
- Place your tree curbside
- Please remove all decorations, tinsel, nails, etc.
- Sorry, we can’t pickup flocked trees
