[ARCHIVED] Mosquito season has begun

West Nile Virus

The only treatment available for West Nile virus (WNV) is prevention. Remember the 4 Ds:
when mosquitoes are most active (June through September) to help reduce the risk of being infected with WNV.

DEET: use insect repellant that contains DEET
DRESS: in long sleeves and pants
DUSK and DAWN: Reduce or eliminate outdoor activity between dusk and dawn.
DRAIN: remove standing water around your home
