[ACTIVE] Public Health Officials seeking people/pets who may have had contact with rabid bat at Waneka Lake

A bat found at Waneka Lake Park in Lafayette on Thursday morning, August 15, has tested positive for rabies. The bat was found near the lake between the boathouse and the playground. Boulder County Public Health officials urge any person who may have touched the bat, or who has a pet that may have come in contact with the bat, to contact them as soon as possible by calling 303-413-7500.
