Q: What is the Stormwater charge?A: This covers maintenance of the stormwater system and treatment of the overflow water. The stormwater systems handles large amounts of rain and/or snow runoff from the streets
 Top Q: What areas do you cover for water service?A: We cover the areas within the City limits of Lafayette, and some limited areas in outlying on the eastern edge of Boulder.
 Top Q: What is the Wastewater charge on my bill?A: This is the charge for sewer service.
 Top Q: What is the $1.00 sidewalk charge?A: This is charged to every property in the City of Lafayette that has a sidewalk. This enables you to call our Public Works department when your sidewalk needs repaired. They will then repair your sidewalk at no additional cost to you.
 Top Q: How can I pay my bill?A: If you come in to City Hall, you can pay your bill at the Finance counter using cash, check, credit cards (Visa or Mastercard) or money orders.
By mail you can use check or money order.
You can set up automatic bill payment which will deduct the billed amount from your checking account, on the date the payment is due. Download the forms from the page linked above, or pick up the application from the Finance Counter at City Hall.
For your convenience there is a drop box outside the front door of City Hall where you can leave your payment. Please use check or money order when dropping a payment - do not leave cash.
