Festival Plaza is a community gathering place in Old Town Lafayette at the intersection of Public Road and Chester Street. The Plaza is composed of a series of four smaller interconnected plazas each designed with features to promote various events.

| National Senior Health & Fitness Day
More than 1,000 organizations nationwide celebrate the largest annual health promotion event for older adults. Recognize this special day with an activity to benefit you! We’ll do a 20 minute group class featuring Zumba Gold, Zumba Satao and Tai Chi. Each of these types of exercise are specifically designed to provide a safe, fun and energizing way for mature adults to reach their fitness goals.
Everyone can succeed in this class! The first 25 registrants who complete the group activity will earn a free Senior Health & Fitness Day T-shirt. This event will also include demonstrations, vendors,
resource information and refreshments. Register by 5/22. |

| Summer Reading Kickoff. CU Opera presents "Wrinkle in Time"
Bring the family to a special opera event. A world-premiere of the opera by Libby Larsen based on the novel "Wrinkle in Time" by Madeleine L'Engle performed by the CU Opera performers. The CU performers will be in costume and full voice. Don't miss!! |
