The Public Art Committee invites you to submit work to be considered for our 2012-2013 sculpture exhibit, Art on the Street, on S. Public Road in Historic Old Town Lafayette.  The 16 winning sculptures will be on loan for one year, and will be installed at different out door locations along S. Public Road. Each sculpture will be available for purchase during that time and a $500.00 stipend will be awarded to each artist for installation costs.  One sculpture will be selected for the Jean Melblom People's Choice Award and will receive a $1000 cash prize.

To be considered, please complete this form, submit it and email two digital images of your proposed artwork to susanb@cityoflafayette.com.  We request that at least one of the images include a size reference (i.e. a yard stick, a person)

Images must be PC-compatible jpeg or tiff files at 75ppi (minimum), and 700x650 pixels.  Each file must be named in this format: artistlastname_title_01.jpg  (use _02 for second image, etc.).

Application Deadline is: December 3, 2011.

- Fragile, dangerous, and inappropriate works will not be accepted.
