Waneka Paddle Boats

Our new character paddle boats are returning along with a brand new boathouse! 

Come celebrate with the Lafayette Recreation Department as we dedicate the newly re-constructed Waneka Lake Boathouse on May 9^th.  Take advantage of all the fantastic FREE activities throughout the afternoon and tour the new facility.

Cruise the lake with a dragon, pirate ship, pink flamingo, duck, pelican, swan or the African Queen!    Choose from these fun-filled paddleboats, or canoes to navigate beautiful Waneka Lake.  While you’re there take time to take advantage of an afternoon of fishing, picnic shelters with bbq grills, playgrounds, basketball, fitness trail, bird sanctuary and the Greenlee Viewing Platform.  Amenities are handicapped accessible.
