In this Photo (Left to Right) Pat and Bone Kilker, Clara and Abner Goodhue and Annie Eberle sit on the front porch of the first stage stop on the Denver-Cheyenne Stage Route in Lafayette. Abner Goodhue
bought the Miller Tavern Ranch stage stop from Lafayette and Mary (town founder) Miller in 1871. When the Millers ran the road house, Mrs. Miller fed about 100 performers from the Robinson Circus as they passed through the area for the first time.
