Neighborhood Watch

The Lafayette Police Department's Crime Prevention Unit is committed to provide the community with knowledge to reduce crime in their neighborhood & community.

They are involved in the National Night Out program which is held on the first Tuesday in August each year. They are also actively involved in getting to know their neighbors and reporting suspicious activities to the Lafayette Police.

For national information on Neighborhood Watch or Terrorism alerts and updates visit the USAonWatch web site.

For more information on how to start a neighborhood watch program in your area please contact Gene McCausey at (303) 665-5571, ext. 4157.
