Crime Scene Van

The Lafayette Police Department currently employs 5 specialized Detectives, 1 Drug Task Force Detective and 1 Detective Sergeant.  Several members of the department are also trained as on-call Crime Scene Investigators, (C.S.I.).  The Division equipped Crime Scene Van serves as a "mobile office" and is available to respond to a crime scene in a moment's notice.
