Chief Bashor

Chief Bashor started with the Lafayette Police Department in 1984.  During his career with the Lafayette Police Department he has served in many capacities including Reserve Officer, Patrol Officer, Detective, Patrol Sergeant, Detective Sergeant, Administrative Sergeant, Support Services Lieutenant, and Support Services Commander.

Chief Bashor has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration and has attended many law enforcement-related management courses. He is a certified Firearms Range Master.  In 2000, he attended the 200th session of the FBI National Academy.  

Chief Bashor is an active member of the community and volunteered with the Kids Park in Lafayette.

Chief Bashor's hobbies include riding motorcycles, traveling, and spending time with his family.
