Karate Class
Karate class
Karate -- Shudokan-Style Karate

This great class is the best youth karate bargain in the Lafayette area!  The instructor, Jim Kaus, is a Black Belt in Shudokan style Karate and has been teaching at the Bob L. Burger Recreation Center for over 10 years.  Jim has a passion for teaching youth and has hundreds of committed followers who have gotten their start with him.  He will work with individuals towards belt testing as well with any who just want to give it a try.  This class is a great deal because the Lafayette Recreation Department can keep the overhead of running a full dojo out of the cost while retaining all of the quality of an instructor with vast experience.  The beginner class is open to youths 5 and up and will teach basic fundamentals of the Shudokan style while the intermediate class will advance to more experienced areas including belt training (if desired).

Check the current Recreation Guide for dates and fees.
