Art on the Street
The Lafayette Public Art Committee was established to strategically place art throughout Lafayette that will enrich the daily lives of residents and visitors, inspire creative thinking and celebrate all that is unique about our community.

Public art projects will expand as the community grows through contributions of residents, businesses, developers, local artists, friends of Lafayette, city staff and volunteer committee members and commissioners.

Current and Past Projects include:
Art on the Street (12 locations along S. Public Road)
Mary Miller Historical Mural (South wall of Library, Baseline Road)
town-woman Sculpture (Bob L. Burger Recreation Center, South lawn)
Within Your Reach Sculpture (outside Library, Baseline Road)
Toros Curiosos Sculpture (North of Walmart parking lot, Highway 287)
Art Walk at the Waneka Lake Boathouse (Caria Drive)
Banned (Bob L. Burger Recreation Center, circle drive)
