Emergency Medical Services
The Lafayette Fire Department's Emergency Medical Services mission is to provide the highest level of care and professionalism to all of our customers.
We provide state of the art Advanced Life Support equipment and techniques on our responding Medic units to your emergency.
We meet and surpass all State and National required medical training, and will continue to improve our care and response times within our response zone.
Our EMS division is led by Chief Lang Smith, Chief Smith has been involved in EMS delivery, education and supervision for over 25 years and was a key player in the implementation of EMS transport with the Lafayette Fire Department.
