The Friends of the Library Foundation(FOLF) accepts:
Books, hardback and paperback
DVDs, VHS
Compact Discs
Audio Cassettes
Please do not donate books or other material in poor condition. The FOLF cannot sell them and must make arrangements for their disposal. Items can be recycled at CHARM in Boulderand the Broomfield Recycling Center.
The Friends cannot use:
Books in poor condition (torn, dirty, highlighted, written in)
Investment books published more than 3 years ago
Computer books published more than 1 year ago
Tax books published more than 1 year ago
Reader's Digest Condensed Books
Textbooks
Encyclopedias
Art prints
How and Where do I Donate Books?
Donations are accepted during regular library hours at the checkout desk. If you will need help unloading multiple boxes, please call 303-665-5200 ext 3800 in advance to make arrangements.
How Do my Donations Help the Library?
Occasionally, a book will be added to the Library's collection. The majority are sold by the FOLF to benefit Summer Reading and other library programs.
Are My Book Donations Tax-Deductible?
Yes! If you need a receipt for tax filing purposes, please ask someone at the Circulation Desk to provide one.
