"Buddy Up" to Jump Start Your Fitness Routine
Looking for some additional motivation for your workout routine? Try working out with a buddy. An exercise partner can keep you company, keep you going, and make sure you show up! If you’re committed to a specific date or two each week, you’re more likely to stick with it.
Ideally your partner should be someone who has established a solid workout routine into their everyday life. If you don’t have any friends who fit the bill, meet a new friend at the gym – or sign up with another Winter Meltdown Participant (see below)!
You can partake in a number of different activities with this partner. Weight training is a great choice because the two of you can switch back and forth between sets. Find a class you’re both interested in – or one you’d like to try – and plan to meet them for the class each week.
Studies show that people who have a fitness support system, such as a workout partner, are three times more likely to exercise, and with that, more likely to reach their personal goals!
How to Sign up for a Winter Meltdown Fitness Partner
Click Here (or follow the link in the weekly e-newsletter) to go to the Workout Partner Sign Up Form. Fill in your information on the form, and submit it.
Once your name is on the list, you will be able to request a copy of the list of potential workout partners from the front desk. Only Winter Meltdown Participants who sign up for this program will have access to your information. Please allow us a full business day to get your name added to the list.
Once you spot a good match on the list, contact that person to set up a workout time.
