Lafayette City Council serves as the community's legislative body. The Council enacts ordinances, appropriates funds to conduct City business, and provides policy direction for City governance through the City Administrator. City Council meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 6:30 pm in City Hall, 1290 S. Public Road. Meetings are televised on Local Cable Channel 8, and are re-broadcast Wednesdays at 1:00 pm.
