Land Use Plan Amendment
The Comprehensive Plan includes a Land Use Plan Map that establishes preferred development patterns by designating land use categories for specific geographic locations within the Planning Boundary of Lafayette. If a land use is proposed that would not comply with the designated land use category a land use plan must be considered. Land Use Plan amendments require public hearings before both the Planning Commission and City Council.
