Before construction can begin on any development a building permit is required to be issued by the Department.  Depending upon the type of development, a permit application typically includes building construction plans, site plans, landscape plans, and architectural plans.  The Building Division is responsible to review and approved the construction drawings in conjunction with the Planning Division and the Engineering Division of the Public Works Department.
