General Information

The Board of Adjustment is comprised of seven citizen members.  Five members serve on the Board and there are two alternate members.  Members are appointed by the City Council and serve three year terms.  The Chairperson and Vice Chair are elected by the membership at their first meeting each year.

The Board meets as needed on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers

The Board of Adjustment hears and decides on variances for special exceptions to provisions of the Lafayette Development and Zoning Code.
