Elections
The City Clerk serves as the Election Official and is responsible for administration of all regular municipal and special elections.
The City participates in a coordinated election with Boulder County for regular municipal elections in an effort to minimize costs and improve service to Lafayette citizens. In addition, citizen initiated recalls, initiatives and referendums are submitted to the City Clerk.
The City Clerk is the filing officer for Fair Campaign Practices Act filings. Campaign filing forms can be downloaded from the Colorado Secretary of State website.
