With your Lafayette Public Library card you can renew your books online, and place items on hold. Scroll down for information on obtaining a card.
Renewing Materials You may renew most library materials once if the item is not on hold for someone else. You can renew your materials yourself at any library computer or by accessing the Library Catalogfrom your home computer. Or call the Check Out Desk during the hours the library is open – 303/665-5200, option 2.
Hold Everything! If an item you want to borrow is checked out, you can request we hold it for you when it is returned. Use your card to do it yourself using the Library Catalog, or ask a staff member for help. If you are looking at our catalog from your home computer and see something you want, you can have us hold it for you at the Check Out Desk, even if it is on the shelf at the time. Follow the instructions on the catalog screens.
When you are notified that the item is available, come into the library and pick it up on the hold shelf located near the Check Out Desk and then check it out. *FYI - Beginning March 5, 2010, the Library will be closed on Fridays.*
If you have any problems with renewals or holds, please call the Check Out Desk. If no one if available to take your call immediately leave a message and someone will call you back soon. Call 303/665-5200 and choose option 2.
