Lafayette Trash and Recycling
(City Program Only)

As of October 2007, the City of Lafayette started a trash and recycling program for residents.*  The program is a Pay-As-You-Throw system which means the less you throw, the less you pay based on trash container size.

You will receive a 96 gallon recycle bin and a 64 gallon trash container.  The size of the trash container can be changed to a 32 gallon or 96 gallon container by calling Western Disposal.

The recycle bin is a standard 96 gallon bin and residents can order more recycle bins without incurring an extra cost.   Recycling is single stream, which means all recyclables can go in the same container.

*HOA communities please call your HOA manager for trash service information.
