  1. Geology of Lafayette - Field Trip

    August 2, 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM @ Waneka Lake Park

    Space is limited and reservations must be made in advance. To sign up please contact Martin Ogle: martin@entrepreneurialearth.com Geology field trip will be led by Boulder County volunteer and naturalist, Dr. Sue Hirschfeld. The outing will begin with an overview of Lafayette geology followed by destinations of Lafayette Coal Miners museum and the Coal Creek Trail. This is a walking and driving field trip - please provide own transportation. Dr. Hirschfeld is a retired Professor of Geology from Cal State-Hayward (now CSU East Bay).
