Downtown Action Committee
The Downtown Action Committee (DAC) was created by LURA to support economic development in Old Town, supervise the Downtown Coordinator, and to oversee the projects and improvements planned for Public Road and the downtown area.
Mission Statement
The Downtown Action Committee (DAC) advises the Lafayette Urban Renewal Authority on downtown issues, initiatives and redevelopment, and implements plans to enhance the pedestrian-friendly gathering place in the heart of Lafayette and supports economic revitalization of downtown. DAC's ultimate goal is to create a self-sufficient downtown organization.

The Committee meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m in the Aspen Conference Room at City Hall, 1290 S. Public Road unless otherwise noted on the agenda.
