The Echternacht property is approximately 78 acres of irrigated farmland.  The property includes Bullhead Gulch which provides wetland habitat for native birds and animals. 
 
Jointly owned by the City of Lafayette and Boulder County, it is one of the last pieces in a series of acquisitions that have created a beautiful open space buffer along the north side of Lafayette.

It is bordered on two sides by existing Boulder County open space.
