Art on the Street
The Public Art Committee has created a rotating, outdoor, sculpture program in Old Town Lafayette. For 2014, Art on the Street will showcase 17 pieces along Public Road that feature both local and out-of-state artists as part of the rotating exhibit. This year, there will be seven pieces installed at Festival Plaza, five that are part of the rotating exhibit.

  • Imagination by Lucas Loeffler. This is Loeffer’s second piece in the city's permanent art collection. This mixed media sculpture incorporates a variety of materials to create a whimsical artwork and reflects the artist's wish to examine the journey of thought.
