Park Shelter Rentals
Reservations for 2014 begin January 2, 2014 at 8:00 am.

Complete the Shelter Reservation Request Form (reservations begin 1/2/14).   Please make sure that you double click on the shelter you want to show all months available for rental.  You will receive an email confirmation within 3-5 business days.

Any citizen desiring to reserve a park shelter for parties, gatherings, etc. may call, complete an online form (above) or come to the Recreation and Facility Management Department office in the Bob L. Burger Recreation Center for a special facility use permit. Fees for such permits vary with the length of the event and can be determined by contacting the Recreation and Facility Management office at 303-665-4206.  Online reservations must be made more than eight days prior to event.  Phone and walk-in reservation cut off is three days prior to date of event.   

Reservations can be made in person, online or by phone starting  January 2 of that shelter rental season.  Shelter rental season is March through October.  Payment must be received within 3 business days after reservation has been made.  Cancellations must be made 4 weeks prior to the event to receive a refund.  

Park Shelter Locations
Waneka Lake -  Two separate shelters available for rent. The Waneka East shelter is closest to the boathouse and Waneka West shelter is closer to the parking lot. Each will accommodate 75 people.
LaMont Does Park -  One large shelter that accommodates up to 150 people.
Whitetail Park - Two separate shelters that are available for rent.  The Whitetail North shelter accommodates 25 people.  Whitetail South shelter accommodates 50 people.

Reservation Fees
$80 per day (8am-9pm)
$50 per 5 hours  (9am-2pm OR 4-9pm)
Shelter damage deposit: $25 without alcohol served, $50 with alcohol served

Persons or parties possessing a valid permit have priority for using the sheltered picnic areas only. This permit in no way constitutes exclusive use of all park amenities.

Alcoholic beverages may only be consumed at an event in the city parks if the person or party acquires an alcoholic beverage permit. Such a permit will require a $15 fee and a refundable $50 damage deposit. Alcohol permits are only available when renting Park Shelters.

All reservations and facility rental permits are handled through the Recreation Administration Office at the Bob L. Burger Recreation Center.

Office hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm.
