Our Services
The City Clerk’s Office maintains administrative, operational, financial, legal, and historical records for the City of Lafayette dating from the late 1800s. Lafayette
Police Department and
Municipal Court records are maintained in their respective departments.
The City of Lafayette has adopted the
Colorado State Archives Records Retention Schedule, which establishes the length of time various records are retained. Citizens may request to view or receive copies of records by submitting a
Public Records Request Form.
