General Overview & Election Organization
The City Clerk serves as the election official for the City of Lafayette and is responsible for the administration of general and special elections. Additionally, citizen-initiated recalls, initiatives, and referendums are submitted to the City Clerk's Office.

The city participates in coordinated elections with Boulder County for regular municipal elections in an effort to minimize costs and improve service to Lafayette citizens.

You may register to vote online through the Colorado Secretary of State's Office.

     
2015 City Council Candidate Packet

2015 Candidate Packets are now available. Four (4) Council members will be elected at the 2015 election. Petitions for Nomination will be available in the City Clerk's office on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 8:00 am. Petition Packets are not available on line.  Completed petition packets must be filed with the City Clerk's office by 5:00 pm on August 24, 2015.
