The Support Services Division is supervised by Commander Gene McCausey, who has been with the department since 1992.  Throughout his police career, Commander McCausey has served as a patrol officer, field training officer, detective, patrol sergeant, detective sergeant, and administrative sergeant. He was promoted to commander in January 2011.

Commander McCausey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice Administration. He is also a graduate of Northwestern School of Police Staff and Command and has completed the International Association of Chiefs of Police "Leadership in Police Organizations" training.
