Welcome to Check In @ LPL

Turning of the Seasons
It’s THAT season again – Fa la la la la, do, do, do, do! Dragon sculpture and snowmen
Yes, the Holiday Season can be a time filled with family, friends and good memories, gifts and giving, but it is also filled with LOTS of things “to do”!

Maybe a quiet moment is in order; some time to collect yourself, to slow down, and to take care of your mind and your spirit. Visit us this month; give yourself the gift of quiet, of breath, of time to slow down.

Share a bit of quiet in our reading area, or take home a copy of your favorite wintertime DVD, and cuddle down on the couch to watch and enjoy.

Find the perfect children’s book to read with your favorite “child”, no matter what the age. Share an old family favorite, or a special holiday tale. Experience again the richness of “The Polar Express”, or take out “Herschel and the Hanukkah Goblins” and continue creating your own traditions. Let Patricia Polacco’s storytelling inspire you, or share the mysterious story of “The Nutcracker”.

We have many books that will inspire you to create unique gifts, or cook delectable meals. And we probably have just what your tired spirit needs for renewal and inspiration.
Check out our Library Staff Seasonal Picks - our gift to you!
Give yourself a precious gift; join us at the Library this month!
