LEAP Into Science Program
LEAP into Science is a national program that engages children and families in science and literacy by integrating hands-on science activities with children's literature.

Lafayette Public Library and the WOW! Children’s Museum are partners in this innovative after-school science and literacy program that makes science accessible to a diverse audience in a community setting.

LEAP into Science inspires children and families to think like scientists through hands-on experiments, and exploring with children's books.

Sign up for Leap into Science Friday after-school workshops or bring the entire family to the Saturday workshop in February.

Supported by the National Science Foundation, these workshops are free, but require advanced registration. Second through fourth graders are welcome.
