Home Center Tutors Recognized as "Every Day Heroes"
TV Channel 7 honored Homework Center tutors for their commitment and generosity to the students of Lafayette in 2010. Homework Center Coordinator Gaea Shaw notes, “because of our tutors’ outstanding work, kids’ grades have improved, their confidence is up, and parents tell us that ‘homework stress’ at home is virtually gone. It’s a win-win situation for everyone!"
