Responding to Incidents
Emergency preparedness for the City of Lafayette is coordinated by the Lafayette fire, police, and public works departments. In the event of a natural or man-made disaster, it is the responsibility of these departments, as well as the entire city organization to coordinate the city’s response to an incident.
