Heart disease is the #1 health threat for women!

The Bob L. Burger Recreation Center, in partnership with The Heart Truth, a national awareness campaign warning women about their risk of heart disease, is promoting this FREE program for men and women.

"Heart disease doesn't care what you wear" The red dress serves as the national symbol for women and heart disease.

Reducing Stress For A Healthy Heart

Stress:  a state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or very demanding circumstances.  AKA: Life. The effect of chronic stress can be toxic. Finding healthy ways to manage stress is essential for your future. Join us for a workshop and lean how stress affects your mind, body, and heart and learn practices you can do every day to reduce stress in your life.

From the everyday tasks of preparing meals, shuttling those kids around, planning fun activities and communicating words of love, we are always expressing our love for others. But what about you? How do we show love for ourselves? Join us for an evening to focus on you. Self-care is a form of love. Explore simple ways to take the time to focus on you including herbal support for the physical, emotional & spiritual heart.

The BBRC's version of BINGO! Receive a FITGO card at the beginning of the month and attend Group Fitness Classes to earn a BINGO and the chance to win some awesome prizes!  Enter up to 5 times.
