INFORMATION ABOUT CHIEF Rick Bashor
Chief Bashor started with the Lafayette Police Department in 1984. During his career with the Lafayette Police Department he has served in many capacities which include Reserve Officer, Patrol Officer, Detective, Patrol Sergeant, Detective Sergeant, Administrative Sergeant, Support Services Lieutenant, and Support Services Commander.
Chief Bashor has a Bachlor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration. Chief Bashor has attended many law enforcement related management courses and is a certified Firearms Range Master. Chief Bashor has also attended the 200th session of the FBI National Academy in 2000. Chief Bashor is active in the community and volunteered with the Kids Park Lafayette.
Chief Bashor's hobbies include riding motorcycles, traveling, and spending time with his family.
