Van Drivers for Day Trips:
Duties include the safe driving to and from a variety of local and metro area destinations. Summer trips include some mountains and longer distance daylong trips. The driver is often the escort on these trips too, meaning she/he works very closely with our programming staff, coordinating entry into the events, confirming all information is correct and taking individuals to and from their homes as needed. Trips vary in time from two or so hours up to an all day event. Evenings and weekends also included. Volunteers must be at least 21 years, provide proof of recent driving records and be a licensed Colorado driver. Hours are very flexible depending on volunteer's personal availability and interest in trip(s).Contact the Lafayette Senior Center at 303-665-9052 or email Lafayette Senior Center

The Lafayette Senior Advisory Board is in need of any interested persons to sit on their various committees. They include fundraising, publicity, wellness coalition, special events, special projects (which are generally very short term) and membership drives. Some committees meet only once or twice while others meet more often. Some committee work may be done during evening hours or at home. Consider volunteering your talents and skills to any one of these committees. Contact the Lafayette Senior Center at 303-665-9052 or email Lafayette Senior Center
