Rothman
Rothman has an active prairie dog colony that attracts many species of wildlife, including coyote, red fox, northern harrier, red-tailed hawk and bald eagle. The land is currently popular as a dog-walking area (by law dogs must remain on-leash at all times and owners must clean up after their pets). It contains several informal trails, plus a soft-surface trail that extends south from Arapahoe Road into the Wild Ridge subdivision that was completed during Open Space Day 2002 and a connection from Wild Ridge to the Bob L. Burger Recreation Center parking lot that was worked on during Open Space Day 2006 and which will be finished to connect through the wetlands in early 2007.
